How the calendar is put together

A promotion's schedule is not a single list of dates. Each event depends on a venue being available, a broadcast window being agreed, officials and medical staff being appointed and the roster being healthy enough to fill a card. That is why a date is normally confirmed publicly only once those pieces are in place, and why individual bouts are announced later than the venue.

  • Venue and date — agreed first, because everything else depends on them.
  • Broadcast window — set with the network and fixed before the card is final.
  • Card and running order — published once contracts and medicals are complete.
  • Results — issued on the night and collected in the news sections of this site.
