Three Of Canada’s Best Fighters Represent “The Great White North” At XFC 44

Three of Canada’s best fighters — Ryan Dickson, Scott Hudson and Tom O’Connor — will represent “The Great White North” in the Xtreme Fighting Championships’ Hexagon at XFC 44 on May 28 in Des Moines, IA, LIVE on FOX Deportes and FOX Sports 2. Get to know the fighters here.

Ryan Dickson (11-5)

Toronto’s own Ryan Dickson takes on former Michigan State wrestling standout Bobby Nash (10-4) in the Semifinal Round of the XFC Welterweight Tournament. A cancer survivor, Dickson was triumphant in his highly anticipated return to action at XFC 43, earning a 54-second submission over Vancouver’s Mike Hill. All of Dickson’s wins are by stoppage (nine submissions, two knockouts).

“Handsome” Scott Hudson (12-5-1)

“Handsome” Scott Hudson represents Hamilton, Ont., against Kurt Holobaugh (18-7) in Lightweight Semifinal action. Hudson advanced in the tournament with a dominant win against D’Juan Owens at XFC 43. The gritty Ontarian has won five straight. Six of Hudson’s wins are by finish (four knockouts, two submissions).

Tom “Big Nasty” O’Connor (9-1)

Fighting out of Lethbridge, Alta., Tom “Big Nasty” O’Connor hunts for his 10th straight win against Damonte Robinson (6-1-1) after scoring a third-round KO over Jose Caceres in their Quarterfinal matchup at XFC 43. The battle-tested Alberta fighter has proven to be one of the most versatile fighters to grace the Hexagon, taking out his past four opponents in the third round of their bouts.
